Kelvin Garvanne is an EMMY award winning television host and creative artist. Kelvin was born and raised in N.Y. and currently lives in Los Angeles. His current project is “Deity Alphabets”. “Deity Alphabets” is a documentary about homelessness based on a book of poems with the same title written by Carroll Kearley.
Deity Alphabets
For several years, Carroll Kearley spoke to people living on the streets around the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market. He created a book of poems dedicated to their stories. My documentary is a compilation of conversations and photographs from Los Angeles and cities around the U.S.
