Sharp's work focuses on cultural arts, health and Black history. Over the past forty years she has written, produced and directed more than a dozen documentaries which have been broadcast and screened around the world, including the celebrated The Healing Passage/Voices From The Water. She has also worked in 16mm animation and adapted poetry to film.
