Spade Robinson is the founder and owner of Atlanta Film Project (formerly Story Consulting Services), a full-service consulting firm for storytellers in film and television. Spade began curating scripts, films and work in progress projects during her time at Sundance Institute, where she worked with the Feature Film Program, Documentary Film Program and Sundance Film Festival. During that time, she worked with hundreds of filmmakers to develop the most compelling versions of their stories. Underneath Rahdi Taylor of the DFP, she created a series of workshops to cultivate emerging filmmakers, building a pipeline into the funding opportunities there. Outside of Sundance, Spade began consulting with Women In Film, HBO and The Blacklist to support emerging voices through their programs. In 2015, Spade founded Story Consulting Services, supporting both individual storytellers in development as well as companies cultivating talent. Corporate clients have included Sundance Institute, Film Independent, LA Film Festival, HBO, Fox Studios, Adaptive Studios and Disney.
