When you commit to BADWest you become part of a collective dedicated to Black filmmakers realizing their films. Our membership is a unique opportunity to network and engage with creatives in a culturally supportive environment.

Membership is open to people of African descent working in the documentary community.  While BADWest is a Southern California based organization focusing primarily on the issues and concerns relevant to Southern California documentary filmmakers, there is n geographical limitation on membership.

Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm pst.
